There are certain dates on the calendar that captivate, inspire, and fill us with anticipation: favorite holidays, paydays (can I get an amen?), memorable moments like first dates...and Vision Weekend.
Wait, did I lose you there? Let me guess: I had you right up until Vision Weekend. But hear me out–this is one date I hope you’ll eventually add to your calendar of “woo-hoo” moments because it’s a day worthy of celebration and expectation.
God has been doing amazing things in and through CrossPoint for years, but it’s only been recently that we’ve paused to celebrate the past and focus on the future in such an intentional way. That’s what Vision Weekend is all about.
This year, Vision Weekend is happening the first weekend in March, and we cannot wait to share with you all that God has done and what He is preparing to do!
Looking Back
We’ll celebrate incredible milestones like our baptism numbers. Each baptism represents a life radically transformed by Christ’s amazing grace. Seeing lives changed over and over again? It doesn’t get better than that!
Looking Ahead
We’ll share stories of growth and the exponential potential we’re seeing as God moves through our Multiplier Groups. Our Location Pastors will also break down CrossPoint’s network-wide goals, focusing on what they mean for your community and how you can play a part in them.
We’ll revisit CrossPoint’s biggest goals on our Vision Frame and celebrate how far God has already brought us.
Invest and Invite
But what I’m most excited about is the renewal of a phrase deeply rooted in CrossPoint’s history: Invest and Invite.
We are praying that 2025 will mark a revival of an Invest and Invite culture. Yes, we want to see people come to church, but let’s remember that’s the end of the process–not the beginning. Before we invite loved ones, friends, and family to church, we must first love them enough to invest in their lives.
People aren’t projects or numbers to be counted on a weekend. God has placed you in a sphere of influence–at home, work, school, or neighborhood–to make a difference. Before we can invite someone to church, prayer, or a relationship with Christ, we must first earn their trust by investing in their lives.
When you pass the test to invest you earn the right to invite. Jesus didn’t call us to be keepers of the aquarium; He called us to be fishers of men. Let’s be a church that’s “go and tell,” not just “come and see.”
Join Us for Vision Weekend
This Vision Weekend, we’ll explore how to live out this Invest and Invite culture. So go ahead–mark your calendar, put up your “vision tree,” and throw on your ugly CrossPoint sweater. It’s beginning to look a lot like Vision Weekend, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
