“Then [Jesus] said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38).
God’s Word is clear, we must pray, we must give, and we must go. The church is God’s Plan A to save the world, there is no Plan B. In order for the gospel to go forward, churches must be planted, and that’s why we are so excited to plant a church in Topeka this coming Spring! This Giving Tuesday we are asking God for $75,000 to launch CrossPoint Topeka. While we know this goal is ambitious, we believe that God can and we are asking that He will do it for His kingdom.
These funds will accomplish the following:
Two years part-time salary for our church planter - Praise God for already bringing us a church planter who is leading our Topeka launch team!
Building and equipment needs - God has also already provided us a FREE building to meet at in a prime Topeka location!
Signage and Advertising - Topeka is a large community. This will help us be a visible gospel presence to those looking for a church family.
